Hydraulic pump is the power element of hydraulic system, which is driven by engine or motor, sucks oil from hydraulic oil tank, forms pressure oil discharge and sends it to executive element.
Hydraulic pump is divided into gear pump, piston pump, vane pump and screw pump according to its structure. The hydraulic system of hydraulic pump belongs to low pressure system, and its working oil pressure usually does not exceed 2MPa, so gear pump is the most widely used. Its function is to convert the engine rotational kinetic energy and torque transmitted to the pump shaft into hydraulic energy, and output pressure oil according to the load. The output of pressure oil can be changed by changing the inclination angle of the swash plate, which can be divided into variable pump and fixed pump according to whether the flow rate is adjustable or not. Hydraulic pump plays an important role in mining and metallurgy, electric power, national defense, agriculture, petrochemical industry, shipbuilding and many other fields.
