Overflow valve plays a vital role in mining machinery and equipment accessories, and its main functions include:
Safety protection function: the relief valve can limit the maximum working pressure of the hydraulic system. When the system pressure exceeds the set value, the relief valve will automatically open to guide the excess oil to the low pressure side to prevent the system pressure from rising continuously, thus avoiding equipment damage or accidents caused by excessive pressure. This function is usually called a safety valve.
Pressure stabilization: Overflow valve can keep the pressure in the hydraulic system stable. When the system pressure fluctuates due to load change or other factors, the overflow valve adjusts the flow by opening or closing to keep the system pressure in a constant range and ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
Unloading function: In some cases, the overflow valve can also be used as an unloading valve. When the hydraulic pump needs to stop working or the system needs to be unloaded, the overflow valve will open to make the oil in the hydraulic pump and the system flow back to the oil tank, thus reducing the system pressure and realizing unloading.
Remote pressure regulation: Overflow valve can also be used for remote pressure regulation. By adjusting the set pressure of the relief valve, the pressure of the system can be controlled far away from the hydraulic pump, which increases the flexibility and adjustability of the system.
Constant pressure overflow function: in the throttling regulation system of quantitative pump, the overflow valve can ensure the constant pump outlet pressure. When the system pressure increases, the overflow valve opens, so that the excess flow overflows back to the oil tank, thus maintaining the stability of the pump outlet pressure.
