Skeleton oil seal is a typical representative of oil seal. Generally speaking, oil seal refers to skeleton oil seal. The function of oil seal is generally to isolate the parts that need lubrication from the output parts in the transmission parts, so as not to let the lubricating oil leak. The skeleton, like the steel bar in the concrete member, plays a reinforcing role and keeps the shape and tension of the oil seal. According to the structural form, it can be divided into single lip skeleton oil seal and double lip skeleton oil seal.

Prolonged service life: By keeping lubricant in proper position, oil seal helps to reduce friction between mechanical parts and prevent wear, thus prolonging the service life of the machine.
The structure of oil seal usually includes a metal skeleton, one or two lips, and possibly a spring. These components work together to provide an effective sealing effect. The lip of the oil seal is designed as a flexible elastomer, which can adapt to the mechanical vibration and the change of sealing fluid pressure and maintain a stable sealing state.
