The working principle of nut is self-locking by friction between nut and bolt. However, the reliability of this self-locking will be reduced under dynamic load. On some important occasions, we will take some anti-loosening measures to ensure the reliability of nut locking. Among them, locking nut is one of the anti-loosening measures. Locking nut generally relies on friction, and its principle is that it is pressed into the preset hole of sheet metal through embossed teeth. Generally, the aperture of the preset hole is slightly smaller than that of the riveted nut. The nut is connected with the locking mechanism. When the nut is tightened, the locking mechanism locks the ruler body, and the ruler frame cannot move freely, so as to achieve the purpose of locking. When the nut is loosened, the locking mechanism disengages from the ruler body and the ruler frame moves along the ruler body.
