Physical isolation
The dust-proof sealing ring is installed at the inner side of the end cover of the hydraulic cylinder or the key position such as the sliding ring, and its lip structure effectively prevents external pollutants such as dust, rain and frost from entering the sealing mechanism to prevent these substances from polluting hydraulic oil or eroding mechanical parts.
Auxiliary sealing function
Some dustproof sealing rings (such as double-acting dustproof rings) scrape off the oil film on the piston rod surface, reduce the oil film loss through the inner lip, and improve the overall sealing effect.
Protect internal components
Prevent impurities from wearing the guide sleeve, piston rod and other key components after entering, prolong the service life of the equipment, and prevent impurities from entering the hydraulic medium to affect the functions of operating valves and pumps.

Materials and structures
