U-shaped rubber seal U-type rubber seal; A kind of rubber seal for U-packing reciprocating motion. The cross section is U-shaped, referred to as U-shaped seal. There are two types: rubber type and cloth-clamped type. Generally, the cloth-clamped U-shaped seal is often combined with a pure rubber support ring. This kind of cloth-clamped U-shaped seal is mainly used on the piston rod and hydraulic plug of hydraulic cylinder, and the medium is hydraulic oil, water and emulsified oil. Because the adhesive tape has a good surface structure, it can keep good lubrication when sliding on the metal surface, reduce friction and wear, and improve its performance. Under low pressure, the support ring prepresses the lip and has a good seal, and under high pressure, it has a self-sealing function. Its working oil pressure is generally 25 MPa, the maximum pressure limit is 35 MPa, the linear speed is 0.5 m s-1, and the operating temperature is-30 ~ 120ºC. The use conditions of pure rubber U-shaped seal are basically the same as those of Y-shaped seal.
U-shaped rubber seal mainly plays the following roles in mining machinery and equipment:
Sealing function: U-shaped rubber seal can effectively prevent the leakage of gas and liquid in mechanical equipment and ensure the normal operation and safety of machinery.
Shockproof and cushioning: In the vibrating screen machine and other equipment, the U-shaped rubber seal can not only seal, but also play a buffering and shockproof role, reducing the damage to mechanical parts caused by vibration during equipment operation.
Prevent material mixing: In the vibrating screen machine, U-shaped seal is used between the grid and the beam ring to prevent material mixing between the upper and lower layers and ensure the screening effect.
Wear and corrosion resistance: U-shaped sealing ring is usually made of polyurethane, fluororubber, nitrile rubber and other materials, which has good corrosion and wear resistance and can maintain sealing performance in harsh working environment.
Lubrication: In hydraulic system, U-shaped sealing ring can form a good lubricating oil film, reduce friction and wear, and improve sealing effect and service life.
Attention should be paid to when installing the U-shaped rubber seal:
Avoid cutting the steel sheet, and try to cut it at the seam of the steel sheet.
Ensure that all parts are stressed evenly during installation to delay aging and damage.
